Co-building an enterprise-grade Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform for a US-based client, replacing a Nanonets-based OCR workflow and targeting ~80K documents/month across invoices, purchase orders, and statements.
- Co-developed an enterprise Intelligent Document Processing platform replacing a Nanonets-based OCR workflow, targeting ~80K documents/month including ~55K invoices, POs, and statements.
- Designed an AI-powered document pipeline using Claude Sonnet 5 for field-oriented OCR & extraction, with Python-based preprocessing, post-processing, validation, normalization, and structured data transformation.
- Built a dynamic seller-specific reasoning architecture using an indexed knowledge/rules system that identifies sellers and loads Markdown-based business logic, enabling scalable handling of vendor-specific document formats.
- Implemented specialized processing for invoice totals, rental-related business rules, text normalization, currency validation, field-level corrections, and extraction edge cases — combining deterministic rules with AI-assisted interpretation.
- Designed a confidence-based Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflow that auto-processes high-confidence documents while routing uncertain outputs to human reviewers for field-level correction before downstream processing.
- Integrated AI processing capabilities into the client's existing Angular enterprise platform, with Python services and downstream data flow involving Business Central and Salesforce.
- Worked directly with a US-based client as part of a 2-member engineering team, translating evolving business requirements and document-specific edge cases into maintainable automation logic.
